What Rate Ranger does
Rate Ranger watches the price of a hotel you have already booked and emails you when a cheaper rate appears, so you can rebook and cancel the original. Worth knowing before you pick a tool
- Price monitoring only pays off on a refundable booking. If you cannot cancel, a lower rate is information rather than savings.
- No tool sees every rate. Each one reads a particular set of sources, which is the single biggest difference between them.
- Free tools generally earn a commission when you rebook through their link. Rate Ranger does, and says so on every alert.
